A Toast
“A Toast” to Vintage Albuquerque
by Randy Cooper

Randy Cooper was asked by Mark Gorham and Cliff Blaugrund to create a unique Shadow Sculpture to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vintage Albuquerque. What is more fitting than a raised glass? Randy’s unique Shadow Sculpture, “A Toast,” is a commissioned gift to NMSO. Randy Cooper’s sculptures grace homes all over the world. His gallery representation extends from Beijing to Paris, from Canada to Puerto Vallarta, and from Madison Avenue in NYC to Laguna Beach, just for starters. The shadows created mesmerize both young and old alike. When asked, “What is more important, the sculpture or the shadow?” Randy’s answer is, “whatever I’m looking at.” His show schedule is extensive this year, crowned with a 2-day show in Malmo, Sweden, where his work was sold out at the show in 2005. See Randy’s website, www.RandyCooperArt.com, for the many exciting and varied things he does.
